Want to know the three most important budget considerations when running facebook ads?

Want to know the three most important budget considerations when running facebook ads?

These three budget considerations should be top of mind when running Facebook ads:

  1. Your advertising goals. What do you want to achieve with your Facebook ads? Do you want to generate leads, drive traffic to your website, or increase brand awareness? Your advertising goals will help you determine how much you need to spend on your ads.
  2. Your target audience. Who are you trying to reach with your Facebook ads? The size and demographics of your target audience will also affect your budget. For example, if you’re targeting a large audience, you’ll need to spend more money on your ads.
  3. Your bidding strategy. How do you want to pay for your Facebook ads? There are two main bidding strategies: cost per click (CPC) and cost per impression (CPM). CPC bidding means that you’ll only pay when someone clicks on your ad, while CPM bidding means that you’ll pay every time your ad is shown. Your bidding strategy will also affect your budget.

Here are some additional tips for setting a budget for Facebook ads:

  • Start small and scale up as needed. It’s better to start with a small budget and see how your ads perform before you start spending more money.
  • Use data to track your results. Facebook Ads Manager provides detailed reports on your ad performance, so you can see how your ads are performing and make adjustments to your budget as needed.
  • Be patient. It takes time to see results from Facebook ads. Don’t expect to see a big increase in traffic or sales overnight.

I hope this helps! And I also wanted to say, don’t be afraid to try FB and IG Ads to grow and scale your business. I can teach you how to do them within any marketing budget. Want Successful FB and IG Ads? Follow These 5 Steps.

Want Successful FB and IG Ads? Follow These 5 Steps.

Want Successful FB and IG Ads?  Follow these 5 steps.

  1. Identify your ad objective or ad strategy first.  You want to set a goal that you want your ad to accomplish.  Examples:  traffic to a website or lead page, sales, collect leads via a lead form or opt in page or expand your reach.  There are more too, but deciding this first is the best practice.
  2. Select your ideal customer audience.  If your FB page or IG profile has at least 1,000 followers you can retarget these people.  If your website has at least 1,000 visitors per month (requires Pixel integration) you can also retarget these folks by creating custom and lookalike audiences.  This gets your ad in front of people who have already seen your content and help them become raving fans and customers.
  3. The FB funnel has 3 sections:  Top of funnel – create awareness and get in front of new people who have not yet heard of you or what you do.  Middle of funnel – Custom audiences who have interacted with your business in some fashion already. Bottom of funnel – people who have already purchased from you and are likely to purchase again when you have new offers.
  4. Strategize Ad Placement:  Where do you want to place your ad? On which platform FB or FB and IG? In the newsfeed, on the side panel, in stories, in reels etc.  Determine which ad placements make sense for your business and where your customer will notice your ad.
  5. What Creative Format is best?: Test images, vs short form videos, vs carousels to see which format performs best for you.  You can also run separate ad campaigns for FB and IG to see if one outperforms the other for future ads.

By getting clear on these 5 steps before beginning your ads, you’ll be in a good place to reap maximized results and get stellar Return On Investment (ROI).

With over 250 million monthly active users, Pinterest is a visual search engine that can drive significant traffic and sales to your website. In this article, I’ll share some tips and tricks on how to do affiliate marketing on Pinterest and leverage its potential to drive affiliate sales.

Here’s a general article with some very interesting Pinterest Stats: >>> https://blog.hootsuite.com/pinterest-statistics-for-business/

Pinterest is the 14th largest social network in the world.

The platform now has 445 million monthly active users

In September 2022, Pinterest reported 445 million monthly active users–up by 2 million users from the previous quarter. This is a slight decline from the platform’s high point in March of 2021, where they experienced 478 million MAUs worldwide.

Over the last three years, the company has seen global user growth increase at an 11% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

The Hootsuite article above gives you a ton more info on why Pinterest should be included in your Affiliate Marketing Plan.

Introduction to Pinterest and affiliate marketing

Pinterest is a platform where users can discover and save ideas. Users browse through images, known as pins, and save them to their boards. Pinterest is a great platform for affiliate marketing because it is a visual platform that allows users to create and share content that inspires and motivates their audience.

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where a business pays a commission to an affiliate for each sale or lead generated from their referral. Affiliate marketing on Pinterest involves promoting affiliate products through pins, boards, and profiles. By becoming an affiliate marketer on Pinterest, you can make money by promoting products that your audience is interested in.

Why Pinterest is a great platform for affiliate marketing

Pinterest’s visual nature makes it an ideal platform for affiliate marketing. According to research, 87% of Pinterest users have purchased a product because of Pinterest. Pinterest users are actively searching for inspiration and ideas, making them more likely to make a purchase. Additionally, Pinterest’s algorithm favors fresh, high-quality content, making it easier for your pins to be discovered by new users.

Another reason Pinterest is great for affiliate marketing is that it’s a long-term platform. Pins have a longer lifespan than other social media posts, meaning your content will be discoverable for a longer period. Additionally, Pinterest users are more likely to save pins for future reference, meaning your affiliate content could be found and purchased weeks, months, or even years after you’ve posted it.

Setting up your Pinterest account for affiliate marketing

Before you start promoting affiliate products on Pinterest, you need to set up your account for success. Here are some tips:

  • Convert to a business account: A business account gives you access to analytics, ads, and other features that are useful for affiliate marketing.
  • Optimize your profile: Choose a profile picture, write a bio that includes keywords, and include a link to your website and other social media accounts.
  • Create boards: Organize your pins into boards that are relevant to your niche. Make sure your board titles and descriptions include keywords.
  • Verify your website: Verifying your website on Pinterest will give you access to analytics and allow you to claim your content.

Creating boards and optimizing your pins for affiliate sales

To start promoting affiliate products on Pinterest, you need to create boards and optimize your pins. Here are some tips:

  • Choose affiliate products that are relevant to your niche: Promoting products that align with your niche and brand will help you attract the right audience and increase conversions.
  • Create boards that are specific to the products you’re promoting: For example, if you’re promoting kitchen appliances, create a board dedicated to kitchen appliances.
  • Optimize your pins: Use high-quality images, include keywords in your pin titles and descriptions, and add a call-to-action (CTA) to encourage clicks.

Finding and joining affiliate programs on Pinterest

To start promoting affiliate products on Pinterest, you need to join affiliate programs. Here are some tips:

  • Research affiliate programs in your niche: Look for affiliate programs that align with your niche and brand. You can use affiliate networks like ShareASale, Commission Junction, and Rakuten Marketing to find programs.
  • Join affiliate programs: Once you’ve found an affiliate program that you want to join, sign up and follow the instructions to become an affiliate.
  • Follow the affiliate program’s guidelines: Each affiliate program has its own rules and guidelines. Make sure you’re following them to avoid being kicked out of the program.

Creating affiliate pins that convert

Creating affiliate pins that convert involves more than just slapping an affiliate link onto a pretty picture. Here are some tips:

  • Create visually appealing pins: Use high-quality images, add text overlays, and choose colors and fonts that align with your brand.
  • Include a CTA: Encourage clicks by including a CTA in your pin description, such as “click here for more information” or “shop now.”
  • Provide value: Your pins should provide value to your audience. Write clear, concise descriptions that explain how the product can benefit them.

Promoting your affiliate pins on Pinterest

Once you’ve created your affiliate pins, it’s time to promote them. Here are some tips:

  • Pin regularly: Pinning regularly will help your content be discovered by new users. Aim to pin at least once a day.
  • Use group boards: Group boards are boards that multiple users can contribute to. Joining relevant group boards can help you reach a larger audience.
  • Promote your pins on other social media platforms: Share your pins on other social media platforms to drive traffic back to your Pinterest account.

Using Pinterest analytics to track your affiliate sales

Pinterest analytics can help you track your affiliate sales and optimize your strategy. Here are some metrics to pay attention to:

  • Impressions: The number of times your pins were seen.
  • Clicks: The number of clicks your pins received.
  • Saves: The number of times your pins were saved by users.
  • Referral traffic: The number of clicks that led to your website.

By tracking these metrics, you can see which pins are performing well and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Common mistakes to avoid in affiliate marketing on Pinterest

Here are some common mistakes to avoid in affiliate marketing on Pinterest:

  • Over-promoting: Don’t flood your followers with affiliate pins. Aim for a balance between promoting affiliate products and providing value.
  • Not disclosing affiliate links: It’s important to disclose that you’re using affiliate links. You can do this by including “affiliate link” in your pin description.
  • Not optimizing for mobile: Most Pinterest users access the platform through their mobile devices, so make sure your pins are optimized for mobile.

Conclusion and final tips for success

Pinterest is a powerful platform for affiliate marketing, but it requires a strategic approach. By setting up your profile, creating boards, and optimizing your pins for affiliate sales, you can increase your revenue and drive traffic to your website. Remember to choose affiliate products that align with your niche, provide value to your audience, and track your metrics to optimize your strategy.
